- I have had a RamDrive for several years. Originally, it worked in
- both 64 and 128 mode. Then over times, programs in 64 mode became
- corrupted, and when reloaded, they still wouldn't work. I gave up
- on 64 programs and used it in 128 mode. It still works in 128 mode,
- but if I switch the RamDrive off to use programs that won't work
- with it on, I always have to re-install to get back to my 128
- programs. It is obviously faster to load the 128 program from disk
- than to do that.
- I need advice. Should I just ditch the RamDrive? Should I sell
- it at a bargain price to someone who can figure out what is wrong?
- Would it be worthwhile getting it fixed and how expensive is it?
- Actually, speed isn't critical, and I begin to wonder why I ever
- bothered. For 249 bucks I can get a hard drive. I assume this kind
- of problem doesn't occur with them?
